I am Arezki Daoud, the founder and editor of The North Africa Journal.  The journal was established in late 1996. Traditionally, the publication has been focusing on the Maghreb, but we’ve recently expanded to Egypt. We also cover surrounding regions that have a direct impact on North Africa. As a fascinating place, we are greatly interested in the Sahel, and so we try to publish articles about it as often as we can. Recently we have been looking at ways to cover other major regions. including Nigeria, Southern Africa and Turkey.
